 I live near ash caves and its pretty annoying when I see people doing this yea I understand its a big rock but this has been hearing for thousands of year and it's pretty disrespectful when people do this and its also a rule in the state park not to do this and the rock is gonna be there for thousands more years and their names and graffiti just make it extremely ugly I am pretty sure that every state and national park I went too the tour guides, and signs posted, inform you that is a felony.

 Is this dinner with your girlfriend something a third person could join? I'm happy to linger in the shadows with my plate of ham and not say anything if that would make it less awkward. It's always awesome to hear communities coming together. How are y'all funding stuff like fuel and other supplies? I assume your volunteers came with their own saws and heavy equipment, but it costs $$ to operate them even if people are volunteering their time and sweat. Any chance the local gov will reimburse you for fuel and supplies, or y'all passing the hat around the town? The reality is a lot of these businesses and people are eating the costs because to them, protecting one another is worth it.   Even if it did disappear in 40 years, if every person did this who walked through, the park would be nothing BUT people's carvings.
