 There is one scene that I think qualifies as a jump scare: after Paul discovers Annie's scrapbook and gets a knife from the kitchen which he hides under his mattress, Annie comes home and he falls asleep. Shortly after, it's storming outside and Paul awakens and looks up next to him, and a bolt of lightning flashes as Annie is shown standing next to him looking down sinisterly with a syringe in her hand. It gets me every time! (The next scene is the infamous hobbling scene.)

Action over reality. It’s true though. My friend and I got a bad grade during a project in HS for using inaccurate information we got from an unverified source (as we should have.... even though it still felt awful lol) but these adults never have to do anything like that. You can make anything, literally ANY fake ass info graphic and they’ll gobble it down because if x person shared it, then it must be true. On top of all of this I think a lot of people who did not grow up with the internet and didnt have adults telling them not to add people you don't know are adding people they dont know on Facebook constantly and then see something a perfect stranger sha.
